We are always looking for better ways to serve you and attend continuing education to keep up with the newest and best eye care options. Here is a little more about us:

 Dr. Morri Coulter started her practice in 1985. She grew up in Huntsville and went to Grissom High School. Dr. Coulter attended Auburn University received a B.S. in Psychology and then attended the University of Alabama in Birmingham School of Optometry.
Dr. Rica Patnaik McRoy joined the practice in 1996. She grew up in Huntsville and went to Grisson High School. She attended undergraduate school at Birmingham Southern and the University of Alabama in Huntsville, obtaining a B.S. in Biology. Dr. McRoy attended the Southern School of Optometry in Memphis. She is married and has three children.

Gail, our Front Desk Director, has been with us over 8 years. She has her Certified Para-Optometric Associate certification and insurance filing background as well.

Sonya is our Insurance Clerk.

Melinda, our Optical Assistant, has been with us over 8 years. She has Certified Para-Optometric Associate certification, opticianry background and files vision insurance.

Mona, our Comptroller, has been with us over 7 years and oversees the financial aspects of the practice. She has a Certified Para-Optometric Associate certification.


Donna, our Clinic Director, has been with us for over 17 years and oversees the services and eyewear products of the practice. She is a Certified Para-Optometric Technician.

Ina, one of our optometric assistants, has been with us over a year and is a Certified Para-Optometric Associate with opticianry background.

Lynn, our Contact Lens Technician, has been with us over 9 years and is a Certified Para-Optometric Technician, has her National Contact Lens Examiners Advanced Contact Lens and American Board of Opticianry certification.

Rose, has experience in many aspects of eye care, having worked in this field for 10 years. She excels in our Eye Wear Gallery at helping you find the newest in flattering and functional eyewear. Need a makeover? She can work wonders!

Erin, has over 5 years in the eyecare field with background in opticianry along with patient assisting in the exam room. She joins our optometric assistants team. Her friendly manner will help put you at ease.
